KVM Switch: ATEN MASTER VIEW CS-1762
With the CS-1762 ATEN presents a KVM switch (keyboard-video-mouse switch) of the newest generation. Connecting two
PCs with one keyboard, one mouse and one monitor – others do that as well. The ATEN switch can do much more: not only
can you switch between two computers, but you can choose between different combinations: for example, it is possible to
listen to the music of one computer via the joint speaker system while using the keyboard, mouse and monitor with the other
computer. You can also connect two USB devices and assign them via hotkey to one of the PCs. Further, extraordinary
highlights: DVI connectors and maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200.
The 14 standard key combinations are listed in a small table which is provided in nine languages (including Germany). The
switching functions impeccably. The highest video resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixel was displayed without any errors.
Result: No switch is so flexible and well-equipped like the CS-1762.
Alternative: SwitchView DVI from Avocent (150 Euro): no separate sound, otherwise equivalent.
