LAS VEGAS (June 9, 2010) – ATEN today announced, here at InfoComm 2010, new HDMI-based video products designed for an array of applications including digital signage and home theater. ATEN’s line of professional audio/video (A/V) products, now dubbed VanCryst™, provides all of the components needed to build a multitude of flexible, integrated solutions for a range of video-related applications. Since 1993, when the first ATEN video switch was introduced, the company has been constantly developing and expanding its video products portfolio.
Highlighting ATEN's VanCryst™ product line are the following HDMI A/V products:
• HMDI Matrix Video Switch (VM0404H) is a four-port, HDMI video switch capable of routing high definition video/audio from any of the device's four HDMI sources to any four HDMI displays. The rack-mountable VM0404H allows users to connect four HDMI devices (such as a Blu-ray player, video game console, HD camcorder, PC, etc.) to four HDMI monitors, projectors or televisions at the same time. The HDMI video switch supports high video resolutions for HDTVs at 1080p – and up to 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) for PC monitors. Ideal for digital signage applications, the VM0404H can be cascaded to support to up to 64 HDMI displays. Available now, the VM0404H is priced at $799.95.
• HDMI Video Switch (VS0801H) is an eight-port, HDMI video switch geared to the home theatre enthusiast. The unit offers an easy and affordable way to add HDMI capabilities to a home theater by allowing users to switch between up to eight HDMI A/V sources (such as an HD camcorder, Blu-ray player, PC, gaming console, etc.) that are connected to an HDMI display. The HDMI video switch supports high video resolutions for HDTVs at 1080p – and up to 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) for PC monitors. The VS0801H supports Dolby True HD and DTS HD Master Audio. Available now, the VS0801H is priced at $299.95.
In addition to digital signage and home theater applications, the VanCryst™ line of products is also ideal for broadcasters, system integrators, and educators to extend and deliver high resolution audio and video signals. The VanCryst™ products are also targeted at manufacturing, healthcare, transportation, corporate conferencing and financial institutions.
In April, ATEN launched an expanded roster of console extender products designed to control a server or KVM switch from a convenient remote location – away from secure and loud server rooms.
ATEN is showcasing these new HDMI products that comprise its VanCryst™ line of video switches, splitters, extenders and converters this week at InfoComm 2010 in Las Vegas from June 9-11, at booth # N2152.
