ATEN PU320 is a 2-port USB 3.0 Express card, which supports USB 3.0 Super-Speed devices. It provides speeds of up to 10x faster than that of USB 2.0, enabling you to access and transfer data much faster simply by adding two USB 3.0 ports to your PCI Express-capable notebook. It is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1, ensuring compatibility with existing devices.
The new USB 3.0 standard supports transfer rates of up to 5 Gb per second. You can back up large volumes of data, such as high definition videos and high resolution photos, to an external USB 3.0 drive quickly within a short amount of time. In addition, the PU320 2-Port USB 3.0 Express card also supplies 900mA of power per USB port, allowing more external devices to operate without the need of an additional power source.
