President's Message

ATEN's corporate core values include Integrity, Caring , Ambition , and Novelty. The four categories of corporate core values are complementary to one another, and all are essential. As ATENers, we must be honest and pragmatic at the same time, treat our colleagues, customers, and the public with the philosophy of respect and caring, an optimistic and positive working attitude, and keep innovating and persisting for a better future. 

The four categories of the corporate core values must be consistent and the code of conduct followed. We need to take as a guiding principle by all the company’s staff. In business operations, our thoughts, behaviors, or decisions should be centered on the four corporate core values and ought to be concretized and implemented among our corporate strategy, operation management, corporate commitment, and product policy. This should also be further expanded to such ESG Sustainable Development Goals as environmental protection, social participation, and corporate governance, and more.

When the company or departments face a dilemma, we can rely on the spirit of the four corporate values and jointly make a decision that aligns with the company’s overall interests. This is the responsibility of each ATENer and also our commitment to the company and society. 

Last but not least, I’m looking forward to seeing the belief and values derived from the corporate core values becoming the basic consensus and code of conduct for being an ATENer. It's the only way we can stand out in a competitive world and realize our goals and vision!

Be sure to execute the job based on the operational guidelines. When mistakes occur during operations, employees should be honest with any problem to solve it promptly and control the risk. During routine work, opinions should be delivered freely and genuinely. Walking the walk is the best policy to show integrity in personal interactions for the company and colleagues alike.


with respect as our spirit

Employees should respect diversity, individual differences, and each other’s expertise and attitudes toward life. Employees should deal with matters on their merits and in a positive manner. Customers, shareholders, and colleagues should be able to accept and embrace diverse voices. They should take the initiative to care for and offer timely assistance to those who are disadvantaged or in need. As global citizens, they should take the lead in striving to build a green environment by saving energy and reducing carbon emissions.


with optimism as our attitude

Winston Churchill said, “An optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty; a pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity.” While facing challenges, employees should stay optimistic to weather storms and be tough. They should possess a positive attitude toward everything and seek positive outcomes. They should look for similarities and reserve differences while communicating. When stuck in a bottleneck, they should persevere and never give up.

In a competitive environment, having influence means innovation. In addition to cost reduction and efficiency improvement, what matters in demonstrating product competitiveness is the value that innovation brings customers. Employees should deliberate upon the possibility of added value, and these innovative activities aren’t limited to the creation of product development. Being dissatisfied with the status quo is precisely the motivation for reform and innovation. Employees should carry out innovative ideas to elevate effectiveness and generate profits.
