13 TECHART was established in 2012 as a cross-disciplinary team creatively integrating art, science, and technology to develop interactive new media designs and commercial applications. To enhance customer experience, the company has set up a comprehensive exhibition space that is digitally interactive.
Owing to interactive display requirements, there was a need to integrate various brands of hardware equipment to reduce the complexity of on-site maintenance operations and enable a centralized management solution.
13 TECHART chose the ATEN Control System, which allows devices to be centrally managed through network control. With the one-touch power-on function on the control panel, multiple interactive display devices can be activated with ease, making it a simple and time-saving operation.
Requirements
Replace Manual Device On/Off
An efficient method was needed to control the 11 projectors and 8 PCs in the digital display sector, to eliminate time-consuming manual control and to ensure prompt display upon powering on.
Multiple Device Integration
Integration of multiple interactive devices (projectors, PCs) from different brands is required to play digital media, so effective integration is essential.
Self-Configurable and Maintainable
System set-up is easy and should issues arise, it can self-repair. When managing and adding additional devices is needed, it could simply self-program itself directly.
The ATEN Control System supports a wide range of I/O ports and communication protocols, eliminating the need for additional hardware devices for development.
