Overview

The KG0016 / KG0032 16/32-port KVM over IP OmniBus Gateway provides remote over IP access for users to monitor and access their entire data center over a network. This KVM over IP OmniBus Gateway serves as a secure single portal to connect all servers for centralized management. The KG series offers superior FHD video resolution up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz via true digital KVM over IP transmission, with virtual media operating at up to 6 times the speed of standard KVM over IP transmission, and FIPS 140-2 with level 1 security standards by using an embedded FIPS 140-2 certified OpenSSL cryptographic module. Equipped with dual on-board 10G NICs, this series is built to ensure reliability and availability of remote access to all servers. The KG series can be remotely accessed via WinClient / WebClient* at a console from a separate location for management and operation.

This KVM over IP OmniBus Gateway provides out-of-band access from remote consoles that support BIOS-level troubleshooting if a production network is down. It enables IT administrators to manage in server rooms via management networks that are separate from the main / production networks. If there’s difficulty in accessing the servers through the production network, administrators can still access them via the KVM over IP OmniBus Gateway.

The KVM over IP OmniBus Gateway is compatible with ATEN’s USB KVM DigiProcessor series. The DigiProcessor series supports VGA / DVI / HDMI / DisplayPort interfaces and provides resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz. The compact design of KVM DigiProcessor allows for an efficient and tidy installation, providing ideal space-saving for rack installation.

Additional exclusive features of KG series include a Message Board, live streaming Panel Array Mode™, and Mouse DynaSync™. ATEN KVM over IP OmniBus Gateway saves users time and money by allowing administrators to manage their data centers from practically anywhere – minimizing travel and MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) costs, ensuring the highest availability for data center services.

We recommend using the WinClient app for more robust management and control. Performance and usage may vary depending on the user’s hardware configuration. A minimum of 8GB RAM, dual core CPU, and a graphics card that supports OpenGL are required. Please also make sure that the browser used is up to date.
