Ultra Short Depth Design
The Ultra-Short-Depth LCD Series provides a space-optimizing solution that offers maximum flexibility in confined environments. It is specifically designed for short-depth rack applications, including space-limited telecom, broadcasting, and surveillance server rooms.
Single Rail
The single-rail design allows the LCD KVM to open and close as it is slid out or in, securing the unit within a 1U rack housing.
Dual Rail
The dual-rail design allows the LCD monitor and the keyboard/touchpad modules to operate independently. To maximize space efficiency, the keyboard and touchpad can be slid back and hidden when not in use, while the LCD monitor can be rotated to sit flush against the rack, allowing convenient monitoring of system activity.

In addition to at-the-rack management for immediate local control, the over IP-enabled LCD KVM switches (e.g. CL3708i, CL5716i, KL1108V, KL1516Ai, and more) can serve as powerful remote gateways, providing:- Secure BIOS-level access - Gain real-time control over connected servers over TCP/IP via LAN, WAN, or the Internet, independent of the operating system
- Efficient virtual media transfer - Simplify maintenance by performing OS installation and firmware updates, or mapping ISO images, folders, or physical drives from a remote computer directly to the server as if done locally.

The CL3884NW offers dual console outputs, enabling real-time monitoring in multiple display modes, including Quad View, Picture-in-Picture (PiP), Picture-by-Picture (PbP), and Picture-on-Picture (PoP). Each mode provides flexible layout options, allowing users to customize how video sources are displayed.
When cascaded up to two levels, the CL3884NW supports up to 16 video sources, which can be simultaneously displayed in a 4×4 multi-view layout and controlled using independent keyboard and mouse inputs.

The CL3884NW can serve as a CMS (Centralized Management System) and provide multiviewer monitoring for NVR (network video recorder) control in scenarios where real-time surveillance is required. In general, each NVR is designed to work only with the CMS of its own brand at a high license fee. The CL3884NW, on the other hand, allows for the integration of NVRs of different brands without extra cost for management software. With the 1U and dual-rail design, the ATEN CL3884NW can be installed in a server rack where its keyboard and touchpad can be slided back to save space while not in use.
