1-Local/Remote Shared Access Single Port VGA KVM over IP Switch
RCM101A
- Supports Access Control Box which allows users to enable/disable remote control privilege
- Supports self-design Panel Array Mode or ATEN software to monitor all machines for operators with multiple RCM products
- Supports exclusive integrated RCM API (DLL) interface with various function for system integrators
- Supports OCR API (DLL) interface for optical character recognition
The ATEN RCM101A supports Panel Array for monitoring all machines with multiple RCM products, and offers advanced and exclusive RCM and OCR API (DDL) interfaces with various function integrated for easy management. Furthermore, with the optional 2XRT-0015G KVM over IP Access Control Box, the RCM101A allows users to enable or disable remote control privilege.
The RCM101A features superior video quality with HD resolutions up to 1920 x 1200, LUC (Laptop USB Console) for easier KVM access, user-friendly local console OSD and virtual media function without additional cable.
System operators can monitor and access computers from remote locations using standard Web browsers or Windows and Java based application programs. The RCM101A connects to the Intranet either LAN or WAN simply by using an industry standard Cat 5e/6 cable, and is connected to a local KVM switch or server via a custom KVM cable.
Complying with the standard TCP/IP protocols for communications, the RCM101A allows the connected server or KVM switch to be accessed from any computer over the internet – whether that computer is located down the hall, in other areas of the country or branch offices in other parts of the world.
A Windows Client Viewer and a Java Applet Viewer are available for browser access, while Windows Client AP and Java Client AP programs are provided for non-browser GUI access. They allow IP connection and login from anywhere over the internet. Inclusion of a Java-based client ensures that the RCM101A is an independent platform, and is able to work with practically all operating systems.
To meet advanced security requirements, the RCM101A’s Virtual Media function allows a Smart Card/CAC reader on a user’s local system to be mapped to a remote server. The RCM101A provides a fast, reliable and a cost effective way to remotely access and manage widely distributed multiple computer installations.
