An international telecommunications company needed a new operation center with three control rooms. The company assigned AdviceWeb as dedicated system integrator. After careful analysis, helped by ATEN distributor Allnet Italia, AdviceWeb chose for a KVM over IP solution. ATEN’s KE-series guaranteed compliance with all the requirements imposed by the end-user.
The KVM over IP transmitter is, among others, equipped with a local video output. It integrated easily with the installation’s already present videowall controller. This same controller now also hosts the ATEN Matrix Manager Software (CCKM), which manages the operators’ access permissions to the various machines.

What were the requirements?
Central management
Operators must be able to connect to any computer depending on work requirements.
No software
Due to outsourced IT maintenance, the use of software-based services is not allowed on the computers.
Interoperability
Workstation management should integrate perfectly with the existing videowall controller.
