AV Signal Distribution and Video Walls for Cargo Surveillance Center
An air cargo service supplier based at a Scandinavian airport processes a range of goods, from travelers’ luggage to bulk logistics. Sorting all goods to the correct transport hubs requires a surveillance center with fast response times. They required a solution to visualize all transportation processes on several video walls, with feeds including flight radar, cameras, logistics, and news, and wanted a solution with centralized control from a web user interface so operators could rearrange the video wall connection profiles. FITE, a Scandinavian SI, coordinated the design and setup of the installation, in cooperation with the ATEN product manager. All products were purchased through Teletukku.
AV Signal Distribution
Connect a multitude of sources, screens and video walls, each with their own interface and resolutions.
Multiple types of in/output interfaces all need to be combined in a rack mountable installation.
Compatibility with commonly used hardware devices, allowing central control via a dedicated interface.
We chose ATEN for its reliable, flexible, and cost-effective solutions.
Jussi Pasanen, FITE
With the VM3200 operators can create custom connection profiles in a drag-and-drop interface and live preview source selections for the video wall display.
Compatible with commonly used interfaces and seamlessly connects up to 32 sources and displays. Hot-swappable boards can be added or changed on-the-spot.
Long Distance Extension
Allows flexible placement of displays in the cargo hall, and separate video walls in the meeting room and control room while extending video up to 100m over HDBaseT™.
