The project’s goal was to create a centralized solution enabling operators to monitor, automate, and respond to critical situations across solar energy production and gas networks.

Requirements
Centralized Access across Systems
Unify the control of industrial equipment, such as gas engine control PCs and SCADA systems, under a single interface. This would simplify operations, reduce human error, and ensure seamless monitoring across various systems.
Real-Time Automation & Error Handling
An automated system was essential for identifying anomalies and reacting to issues like abnormal parameter readings without manual intervention. This required advanced tools capable of detecting errors and triggering responses automatically.
High-Quality Visualization
To support effective decision-making, the customer needed a versatile video wall system capable of displaying SCADA data, infrastructure details, and alarms. The system had to handle large volumes of data and allow for customizable layouts to suit operational needs.

The VW3620 Video Wall Processor provided flexible windowed views of SCADA data and critical metrics, enabling operators to prioritize responses efficiently. Paired with KE Transmitters and Receivers, it ensured high-quality, lossless video feeds for accurate, real-time monitoring.
Scalable Networking with Simplified Maintenance
The ES0154 Managed Switch, designed specifically for ATEN KVM over IP installations, streamlined network setup and minimized maintenance costs. Its robust design provided scalability for future expansion, ensuring long-term performance and cost efficiency.
