An additional collaborative space was installed in the front of the room where four people needed to connect various HDMI and VGA devices. Olympus Corporation – Long-range Over IP Video Transmission – Japan
Olympus Corporation is a Japanese manufacturer of optics and reprography equipment and was established in 1919. Olympus recently developed a videoscope known as IPLEX GAir for use in pipe inspection applications in industrial locations such as petroleum and power plants. Olympus was looking for a solution that enables remote control and video transmission of the scope, which is inserted up to 30 meters to inspect long, complex pipes. Since there are only a limited number of engineers who can inspect these infrastructure facilities, Olympus needed a reliable method for inspecting remotely without going to the site.

A primary school in Hong Kong is looking for a major upgrade to its A/V multimedia system. The school requires up to 1080p signal transmission from 6 different sources (VGA and HDMI) to 1 website and 13 displays (VGA and HDMI) across their campus. The solution would need to extend up to 60 meters across 3 floors and carry a diverse range of source content, including the headmaster’s addresses during assembly and other events (camera), school announcements (camera), experiments and science projects (digital overhead projector), and educational movies (DVD player).

A 5 Star hotel in Hong Kong has recently created a multi-purpose function room to be used by its international guests. The function room requires a minimal yet sophisticated A/V installation that will echo the hotel’s sleek design and focus on quality. The multi-purpose function room (22m x 12m) consists of 5 HDMI displays which require access to 4K promotional materials from hotel and client provided sources such as PCs, laptops, android tablets, and iPads. There are an additional 4 HDMI displays in the back room to verify the output.

The company also operates one of the biggest data centers in the Baltic countries. Levira is developing a state-of-the-art Network Operations Center (NOC) to manage its key media services, playout and transmission of TV channels to cable TV, data center and cloud services. Once complete, the new NOC will monitor outgoing video signals, environment, equipment health, and the network traffic status of all Levira operations.
