Company to Exhibit at DC World Forum and Showcase its Data Center Centralized Management Solution with Integrated PDU Functionality and Newest KVM over IP Switches
 

Moscow, Russia (May 22, 2014)– ATEN International, the world-leading designer and manufacturer of advanced connectivity and management solutions, today announced that it will showcase its enterprise data center product line at DC World Forum 2014 (May 27-28, Hotel Radisson-Slavyanskaya), the largest data center event in Russia. Participation at DC World Forum reinforces ATEN’s commitment to the Russian market, echoing the strong growth for its enterprise data center solutions.

 
Hosted in Russia, the DC World Forum is an annual conference and exhibit offering the most advanced discussions and demonstrations related to the development, deployment and management of data center engineering, network and IT infrastructures. As an economic superpower, Russia is experiencing rapid growth, especially related to enterprise technology deployments. ATEN has been active in the Russian market for over 20 years and has experienced 43 percent year over year growth through the first quarter of 2014.

Key highlights at DC World Forum 2014 include the Data Center Centralized Management Solution (DCCMS) with integrated Power Distribution Unit (PDU) functionality and a new generation of enterprise KVM over IP Switches:
 

• DCCMS – provides centralized management for the server room by utilizing single IP, single sign-on and single portal access. ATEN’s CC2000 software enables DCCMS and integrates a broad array of devices under a single platform. The solution integrates KVM over IP switches, blade servers, virtualization solutions, power solutions and PDUs, and storage, routers and other devices within one centralized system.

• KVM over IP Solution–The KN1108v and KN116v KVM over IP switches provide secure, remote access and management of data center environments via a web-based browser. Each switch includes dual on-board NICs and dual power supplies, supports virtual media and integrates with ATEN’sControl Center Video Session Recorder (CCVSR) software that records all operations made on servers accessed through KVM over IP switches down to the BIOS level.

• Green EnergyLine of Intelligent PDUs – Part of ATEN’s NRGence green energy power distribution units, the PE9216r and PE9324r (eco PDUs) provide secure, centralized, intelligent, power management (power on, off, cycle) and monitoring of data center IT equipment.  The 16 and 24 AC outlet configurations can be daisy chained via the PON port on each unit.
