Key highlights at CeBIT 2014 include the industry’s fastest HDMI Matrix Switch, ATEN’s 4K2K video solutions, IT infrastructure access management, and an array of innovative green energy solutions:
 

• HDMI Seamless Matrix Switch–The VM5808H 8x8 HDMI Matrix Switchwith Scaler will be presented in a live demonstration at CeBIT.It utilizes ATEN’s unique seamless engine which integrates advanced video processing technologies such as scaler, clock generator, frame buffer and EDIDin its FPGA chips to unify the video formats and deliver continuous video streams, real-time switching and stable signal transmissionwithout any frame loss.The VM5808H is ideal for environments that require real-time video streaming and playback, such as live events, transportation and logistics centers, traffic control centers and surveillance.  Visitors will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience with the full HD seamless switch technology. 

• HDMI Extenders– ATEN will demonstrate the VE829, an HDMI Wireless Extenderthat supports full-uncompressed HD 1080p and 3D content up to 30 meters. The VE812/VE814 HDMI over Single Cat 5 Extender implements HDBaseT technologyto extend ultra HD4K2K(4 times the resolution of 1080p) video up to 100 meters using only one Cat 5e cable.

• IT Infrastructure Access Management Solution – ATEN will introduce its newest KVM fiber solutionfor the first time at CeBIT, the CE680/CE690, a DVI Optical KVM extender that overcomes the length restriction of standard DVI cables by using optical fiber to send high definition audio, video and control signals over long distance (up to 20KM for CE690; 600m for CE680).

• Intelligent Green Energy Solutions– The latest generation of intelligent eco PDUs (PE8324G, PE8216G, and PE6108G) and eco sensor (EA1240) effectively increases the efficiency of data center power usage. ATEN’s eco PDUs provide secure, centralized, and intelligent power management of data center IT equipment. The EC1000 energy box provides an intelligent, cost effective solution that monitors ATEN energy PDUs, while ensuring safe and effective energy saving management.
