Taipei, Taiwan (November 6, 2023) – Fresh from winning three major international accolades –the German iF Design Award, the Red Dot Design Award, and the Good Design Award from Japan – ATEN International, a leading provider of KVM and AV/IT connectivity and management solutions, today announced that it has clinched three Taiwan Excellence Awards for its elite products in professional AV, AI, and green energy.

The three award-winning ATEN products are the ATEN Control System, a new generation intelligent solution for workspaces recognized by both the German iF Design Award and Good Design Award from Japan; the new AI text-to-speech service – ATEN’s AI Voice; and the intelligent 3-phase eco PDU lauded by the German Red Dot Design Award. These three are all iconic ATEN products and the awards not only highlight strong R&D capabilities and product innovation abilities but also create new value for Taiwan's technology industry.

The Taiwan Excellence Award, coordinated by the International Trade Administration of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and executed by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council, celebrated its 32nd anniversary with the theme "Ascending to Taiwan Excellence, Taking the World Stage." Attracting 469 companies with 948 product entries, the competition culminated in 320 products from 182 companies being honored. Over 140 local experts and scholars rigorously evaluated these entries, focusing on R&D, design, quality, and marketing. Industry-wise, information and communication technology led at 38%, followed by machinery and components (18%), transportation equipment (14%), and home appliances with building materials (10%). This distribution showcases not only Taiwan's industrial strengths and competitive edge but also the burgeoning interest in smart mobility solutions in the post-pandemic era.

Taiwan Excellence Award 2024 Winner –ATEN Control System: New generation intelligent solution for workspaces

1. Its advanced multi-core processor and multitasking architecture enable rapid processing and analysis of extensive data, fully utilizing the processor's robust capabilities for enhanced performance.

2. The platform's dual network architecture ensures robust security with total network isolation for absolute safety in professional environments.

3. An LCD panel simplifies access to system information and configurations, significantly aiding in troubleshooting and maintenance.

4. Integration of keypads and controllers enables simple control solutions. Up to 125 button combinations provide installation flexibility. Additional Tabletop kit and engraving service elevate user experience.

Taiwan Excellence Award 2024 Winner – ATEN AI Voice

1. Provides a unique and memorable audio experience in Mandarin Chinese by integrating a Taiwanese accent, making multimedia content more engaging.

2. Highlights the characteristics of Taiwanese speech, infusing content with an authentic Taiwanese flavor, and allowing audiences to experience emotional resonance.

3. Introduces revolutionary tools, enabling you to easily achieve uniqueness in your audiovisual content without additional costs and complex processes.

4. Provides a diverse selection of voice actors and premium audio quality to elevate the user experience, foster emotional engagement, and boost both recall and conversion rates.

The ATEN AI voice service is currently available in the Taiwan market and will be released globally in the future.

Taiwan Excellence Award 2024 Winner – ATEN 3-Phase eco PDU

1. The device is outfitted with an ARM Cortex-A8 processor and can support up to 30 high-voltage port outlets. It boasts rapid power-up capabilities, energizing all connected devices in under 10 seconds, and provides highly accurate energy consumption readings (within +/-1%), aiding in the development of efficient power usage strategies and the monitoring of conservation initiatives.

2. With a slender profile of just 56mm in width, this unit offers a 0U rack-mountable design optimized for space efficiency, accommodating the installation of two PDUs side by side to maximize rack utilization. For cost-saving and space-efficient setup, the PG PDUs can be cascaded to connect up to 64 PDU units.

3. Featuring dual LAN ports, the unit facilitates both 1G and 100mb network transmissions, allowing for concurrent connections to the Internet and a local intranet for versatile networking options.

4. The PDU enhances user interaction with a multi-colored LCD console panel that displays red, yellow, purple, blue, and green for easy identification of different power feeds. It is designed with a focus on reliability to provide continuous power distribution and ensure consistent system uptime.
