The All-in-one Multi-channel AV mixer now supports Android tablets

Taipei, Taiwan (Jun 21, 2021) – ATEN International, the leading provider of AV/IT connectivity and management solutions, today releases new features of its UC9040 StreamLIVE™ PRO All-in-one Multi-channel AV Mixer. The ATEN UC9040 StreamLIVE PRO is an all-in-one 4-port HDMI AV mixer, a portable video production system that users can take anywhere without the need for carrying a monitor and a computer. Before the upgrade, it could be controlled via the intuitive control interface from the hardware console and an iPad after the installation of the OnAir™ Pro App; with the newly released firmware update, the app now supports Android tablets as well as iPads for controlling, preview monitoring, real-time editing, and arranging elements into a program mixing.

The upgrade also includes a new feature known as “On-the-go livestreaming control” for Android tablets, in which users don’t need to stay by their UC9040 to operate it. Instead, the device can be controlled remotely through an Android tablet by simply connecting it to the same network as the UC9040*. With the implementation of this new feature, streaming applications can be expanded with more opportunities.

*The Android tablet’s network is through Wi-Fi and UC9040’s is through Ethernet.
