Diversifying Venue Potential
A 500-seat performance venue in Australia wanted to upgrade its AV infrastructure with a powerful and flexible video distribution system in order to diversify its theater production portfolio to include hiring out the venue for a wider variety of staged functions, conferences, and non-traditional events.
In addition to cameras capturing action on stage and in the auditorium to be routed around the venue, the building also features two foyers across two levels with that required monitors to display promotional content from a dedicated server. Video also had to be distributed to monitors located front-of-house and backstage, as well as in the workshop, green room, and loading dock.
