Foothill Ranch, CA (August 14, 2014) – ATEN, a leading designer and manufacturer of advanced connectivity solutions, today announced that it will showcase its latest professional A/V products at the Almo Professional A/V’s E4 AV Tour in Philadelphia. Key highlights at the show will include ATEN’s new family of the industry’s fastest matrix switches and new wall plate solutions supporting VGA, DVI, HDMI and audio from a max of 150 meters. These A/V solutions are helping professional audio and video operations to better deliver and manage signals. The wall plate solutions help to provide a clean experience while the HDMI Matrix switches provide a seamless experience for the viewer. - Industry's Fastest HDMI Matrix Switches – The industry’s fastest matrix switches, the VM1600, VM5808H and VM5404H provide nearly seamless switching capabilities. Their flexibility and speed allow for large scale digital displays such as video walls, stage presentations, and other broadcasting environments to be controlled. The VM1600 is the newest addition to ATEN’s VanCryst line. It is capable of connecting up to 16 HDMI sources to a maximum of 16 HDMI displays. Its sister technologies, the VM5808H and theVM5404H, support up to a maximum of eight and four sources and displays, respectively.
- Wall Plates – The VE156, VE606 and VE808 can be controlled remotely from any receiver or transmitter and are easy to install. All wall plates provide HDCP content, require EDID by-pass and support wide screen formats to ensure video quality. The VE156 extends the distance between the VGA source and the VGA display, using a second Cat 5e to transmit to the converter. The VE606 extends DVI distance, while the VE808 works with HDMI displays. Their compact design eliminates bulky cables while Decora styling allows them to easily integrate with existing infrastructure.
- HDBaseT and 4K2K Solutions - ATEN has developed 4K2K products, the VE812 (2-Port) and VE814 (4-Port) HDMI extenders that support 4K2K resolution up to 100 meters using a single Cat 5e cable. HDBaseT products include the VE812 and VE814 HDMI extenders, which are cost-effective solutions for extending A/V signals up to 100 meters over a Cat 5e cable.
