The older driver may not be totally cleared before installing a new UC232A.

Please make sure all the older drivers are properly uninstalled. 

 

1. Disconnect the UC232A from the computer

2. Type appwiz.cpl in Run to call up "Add or Remove Programs"

3. Uninstall UC232A driver

4. Go to C:\windows\system32\drivers, find ser2at.sys and serenum.sys and manually delete them

5. Restart the system and install the latest driver.

6. Connect the  UC232A to your computer
