ATEN’s Collaborative Series VP2730 finalist in AV Awards 2019

Berkshire, UK (August 7, 2019) – The latest ATEN VP2730 7x3 Seamless Presentation Matrix Switch with Scaler, Streaming, Audio Mixer, and HDBaseT has been awarded by AV Awards as finalists in the Collaboration Technology category 2019. The AV Awards has been recognized as one of the most prominent authorities in the AV industry and is featured in AV Magazine, the pro AV market guide to AV equipment, digital signage, and industry events since 1972.

As the first member of the VP2000 Collaborative Series, the VP2730 is a multi-in-one presentation switch with seven multi-format inputs to two HDMI and one HDBaseT high-definition outputs that enable users to collaborate within a local meeting room or share presentations to multiple offices remotely to satisfy a wide variety of meeting space demands in meeting rooms, video conferencing rooms, lecture halls, distance learning classrooms, or other presentation environments. This collaborative presentation solution facilitates distance-free content sharing along with advanced audio, simplifying AV integration via eliminating the need for numerous individual components and the compatibility challenges that accompany them. The key features include:

Bi-directional Distance-free Streaming – With VP2730, content streaming is enabled bi-directionally, so HD video can be streamed to up to 5 remote sites or streamed in from a remote site via an intuitive web GUI.

Ultra Seamless Switching with Scaler – VP2730 supports ultra-seamless switching from one device to another with zero-second switching, ensuring an extra smooth presentation experience.

Built-in Audio Mixer – VP2730 supports dynamic and condenser microphone input with selectable 48V Phantom Power and allows microphone input to be mixed with program audio.

Moderator Mode and Multi-view Flexibility – VP2730 offers more controllability and flexibility with a Moderator Mode that gives the meeting host the ability to remotely control the display discretely and without interrupting the meeting flow, as well as multi-view functionality, which allows displaying up to six sources simultaneously in PIP (picture in picture), PbP (picture by picture), quad-view, and more.
