Warranty Policy
Warranty uncovered
Warranty does not extend to:
- Non ATEN‐branded products and accessories
- Customer Induced Damage (CID):
- Defects caused by accident, abuse, misuse, negligence, modification, or improper maintenance.
(Picture and detail of the defects,please refer to CID page.) - Failure caused by any item which ATEN does not provide or for which ATEN is not responsible.
- Failure caused by the use or storage in anything other than ATEN's specified operating environment.
- Products damaged in transit due to improper packaging.
- Products where the product serial number of ATEN has been removed or damaged.
- Defects caused by accident, abuse, misuse, negligence, modification, or improper maintenance.
- Compatibility Issue:
Issue caused by product, software and accessories version mismatch. - Products and components in a location other than the countries in proceeding of retail orders.
- Out of Warranty (OOW):
For products are outside the warranty period, ATEN may, in its sole discretion, provide repair service with charge or reject repair service without cause.
Limited Warranty
- ATEN does not offer a global warranty for products; subject to applicable laws, the service and warranty period may vary by regions/countries. For warranty inquires, it is strongly advised to contact the original point of purchase, otherwise ATEN may charge fees associated with the out-of-region/out-of-country service at its discretion.
- For ATEN products purchased through online shopping channels, Customers are advised to contact the original online seller for warranty inquires, otherwise ATEN may charge service handling fees at its discretion.
- Please do not disassemble ATEN product to avoid damages not covered by the warranty. Only ATEN or its authorized service representative should perform service on this ATEN product.
